4 Conductor with Ground VFD Cable
Three power conductors plus one green/yellow ground
4 Conductor with Ground (4C) VFD cables are designed for standard 3-phase motor terminations, featuring three power conductors plus a green/yellow ground conductor. Common constructions include foil tape and copper braid shields as well as in accordance with NFPA 79 (2018), Section 4.4.2.8, XLPE insulation engineered to withstand the high switching frequencies between VFDs and motors. Four conductor VFD cables are available in flexible constructions for fixed installations and high-flex designs for continuous motion applications.
